Rachel graduated from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and an academic interest area in American Sign Language. She earned her Master of Science degree from Radford University and has acquired national and state SLP certifications.
Throughout her clinical experience in several settings, Rachel has obtained diverse experience with pediatrics and adults. She is proficient in treating and diagnosing a variety of disorders including articulation, phonological processes, receptive and expressive language, pragmatic language, apraxia, augmentative and alternative communication (AAC), fluency, cognition, and autism spectrum disorder. She is passionate about partnering with individuals and their families to equip every person with the skills they need to thrive.
In her time outside of work, Rachel enjoys spending time outdoors, travelling, photography, and playing board games.
