VIRTUAL evaluations & TESTING

Psycholeducational Evaluations for Dyslexia, ADHD, Autism, Language Disorders and more

We are now offering to administer the assessment from the comfort of your home!

HOW DOES IT WORK REMOTELY?

The assessment takes place in an online platform, HIPPA consent, which means, that is totally private. Your child will need to be placed in a quiet room with no distractions. We take the time your child needs to complete all tasks. Most of the testing materials are online, but we will also ship a small box with some hands-on materials for the assessment.

All of the services below are included in the total cost of the assessment, and most importantly, we develop and build a warm relationship with the child and the family to engage and support the family’s needs.

WHY DO AN ASSESSMENT?

It provides a deep understanding of your child’s learning process, identifies the underlying cause/s of your child’s current challenges, detects your child’s unique strengths for further development, and allows to prepare an individualized plan of action for your child’s optimal development.

It provides diagnosis such as Dyslexia, ADHD, Autism, Dyscalculia, Language Disorders, among others.

Why work with ILLUMII?

At ILLUMII we strive to offer comprehensive assessments and lead parents step by step through the process –from the evaluation to understanding results to follow a tailor-made plan of action–. We not only provide a diagnosis, but we guide the parents to navigate the path for their child’s learning success.

  • We use a strength-based approach. It means we identify child’s areas for improvement as well as child’s talents. Both are equally important to help the child succeed in learning.

  • We use the most updated and advanced tests and methodologies in the market to provide the most updated and accurate results.

  • We take the feedback meeting seriously, with ample time to provide specific recommendations for home, school, and a detailed plan of development for the child.

  • We provide a follow-on meeting with the parents for further clarifications and implementation review.

  • We meet with the school and teachers -when requested- to provide results and request specific recommendations/accommodations for your child.

  • We further communicate -when requested- with the child’s pediatrician or other professionals to align on the treatment plan and the child’s current needs.

  • If necessary, we share with you our network of professionals and assist you in making an appointment with them.

  • We guide you through any medical plan or documentation process, such as the 504 Plan or Individual Educational Plan (IEP).
